Once again we head north, hoping for some water, the signs are not good and banter on UK Rivers indicates that previous Easters have been dry as a dry place, however……<\/p>\n

The Allt Kinglass, a trib of the Orchy provides an entertaining if a little short run, on this drop when you think you are far enough right, go further right, perfect levels.<\/p>\n

Laggan Dam, built in the 30's to provide hydro power for the British Aliminium Company smelter near Fort William, water runs by tunnel to Loch Treig then by underground tunnel for around 15 miles before the pipes run down the side of the Ben.  When they have too much water however, they kindly provide a release through any number of the six pipes.  Today we had two releasing, earlier in the week it had been on 4, doah!  Described as 3+ on two, with the lower gorge being at it's most technical, what a blast, great entertainment, so much so we did it again.<\/p>\n
