wheels are stripped, prepped and treated to a coat of paint<a href=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9420.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2150\"><img height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Frame is dipped and a couple of minor repairs sorted before being primed and two packed<\/p>\n<p><a src=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9422.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9422\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The rear shock mounts are a known weak spot on these old frames, so Barry at Blue Haze engineering boxes and strengthens the original mountings<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9423.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2152\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2152\" src=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9423.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9423\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cast iron Brembo discs can look as if they should be chucked but some time on the wire wheel and a lick of paint and they&#8217;re soon sorted, these old discs have the advantage of bolting onto the carrier so are easily separated for cleaning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9424.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Philpotts sort out 26 years worth of neglected chrome, ground, re chromed and ground back to original size, with polished lowers ready to be re built<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9431.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2157\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2157\" src=\"https:\/\/itsonlyahill.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_9431.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9431\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Barrels have been soda blasted and honed and visual inspection shows them to be in good condidtion, original pistons are going back in with new rings to be on the safe side.<\/p>\n<p><a
