We like going to Le Mans
Year 20 perhaps, I would have to sit down and work it out to be exact, but its got to be around that figure.
A first trip abroad for the Enfield, these are the sort of trips it was bought for and I have to say it ticks the box perfectly.
Now I’ve been going to the cafe with round windows in Alencon since 1988, Jack told me about the cafe. It’s a cafe with round windows, you can’t miss it, last year it was closed so we had to find an alternative, we went back to that alternative, the Le Mans side of the Alencon center, sorted.
We make good time to the circuit and stroll in after buying our tickets on line saving a good chunk of money, secure camping and circuit entry for the entire weekend for less than a hundred quid, bargain.
Bike and helmet stickers have to match on leaving the circuit mated to pictures taken on on entry of the bike registration and you have your V5 just in case, they’ve taken steps over the years to try and reduce the theft issues that did plague the place back in the day.
We head over for night practice, bike racing, in the dark, bonkers.
Friday evening pit walk.
Saturday night off circuit action.
After the race we retire to the peace n quiet of the French countryside
Then we came home.
